On June 14th at 4 pm The Coles County Chorus (CCC) and their guest performers will present “ON TO VICTORY – A Salute to the Greatest Generation.” The concert will be held at EIU’s Doudna Fine Arts Center, 1867 7th St., Charleston IL. Young was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and began his music career in 2002. He gained fame in 2006 as the Season 4 winner of the television program Nashville Star, a singing competition on USA. After winning, he was signed to RCA Records Nashville, releasing his self-titled debut album that same year. It produced two singles on Hot Country Songs with "Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "You're Gonna Love Me". His second album, The Man I Want to Be, was released September 1, 2009. It included the singles "Voices", "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)", and the title track, all of which went to number 1. Clint Black is Coming to Decatur, Illinois  DECATUR, IL (MARCH 10) – The Macon County Farm Bureau is thrilled to announce that country music icon Clint Black will perform at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater in Decatur, Illinois, on Friday, July 11, 2025. Known as one of the most authentic traditionalists in music over the past three decades, Black is a true triple threat as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter. Skillet to perform at The Mill Tickets to the July 12th performance will go on sale Friday, May 30th at 10am. After an incredible 20 years on Atlantic Records, Skillet have built this new vision entirely by hand, intentionally opting to go independent at the end of their last contract and developing solid indie team.
