Colleges will soon have more freedom to sell alcohol on campus. A new law will allow all public schools to sell alcohol at campus events, as long as they’re not student-related activities. The law comes after Southern Illinois University expressed interest in selling alcohol. However, not all schools are interested. EIU officials issued a statement saying they have no plans or desire to do so at this time. The law also gives community colleges a chance to sell as well.
