(Detroit, MI) — A potential fire risk has led a recall of more than 130,000 cars SUVs. Federal safety regulators say a fuel leak in the braking system could cause an electrical short sparking a fire. The recall covers some late-model cars including Nissan Maxim sedans, Murano SUVs and hybrids. Owners are advised to stop driving their vehicles immediately and call Nissan if the anti-lock brake system ABS warning light comes on and stays lit on the dashboard. Nissan says no one has been injured, but there are reports of thermal damage to some vehicles.
