Report: Knicks Lift Ban On Oakley
(New York, NY) — The New York Knicks are lifting their ban on former player Charles Oakley. ESPN reports Oakley will be allowed to attend Knicks games again. The news comes after NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Michael Jordan spoke with both Oakley and Knicks owner James Dolan on Monday. Oakley was removed from Madison Square Garden and arrested last Wednesday following an altercation in the stands, which resulted in his indefinite ban from the arena. He was charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of misdemeanor trespassing.
