Famed “Insult Comic” Don Rickles Dies
(Los Angeles, CA) — The man dubbed with such monikers as “The Merchant of Venom” and “Mr. Warmth” is dead.
Comedian Don Rickles, whose unique brand of so-called “insult humor” was unparalleled, passed away in Los Angeles of kidney failure. Rickles had one of the most prolific careers in the entertainment business and appeared in such movies as “Run Silent, Run Deep,” “Kelly’s Heroes” and “Casino.” Don Rickles died at the age of 90.
