Blagojevich Once Again Pushes Appeal
(Chicago, IL) — Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is trying again to get a lighter sentence. Lawyers for the imprisoned former governor last week asked a federal court for a new hearing. Blagojevich still maintains he’s innocent of corruption charges. Blagojevich is serving a 14 year sentence for trying to sell President Obama’s former senate seat.
