Congratulations to Coles County Habitat for Humanity for being our August winner of the Hometown HOPE Grant. There is still time to submit your non-profit organization to win our next grant – just click here!
Coles County Habitat for Humanity recently began building a house for their newest partner family at 612 Wabash in Mattoon. Aisha Crowe and her daughters Destiny & Trinity are their newest family (click here for details). Build days take place every Saturday from 8am-2pm, until the house is complete. Skilled and unskilled volunteers are welcome and encouraged to participate. Coles County Habitat for Humanity would like to thank First Christian Church of Mattoon & Wells Fargo Advisors for their generous support.
In addition, Coles County Habitat for Humanity has selected the next partner family, Amber Pedigo of Charleston. Help support the next build by becoming a sponsor and/or donor of the Annual fundraiser, Habitaste. Habitaste is Habitat’s premier wine & beer tasting event. This year the event will feature both live and silent auctions. Come out on Thursday evening, September 28 from 5-8pm at Unique Suites in Charleston. (See flyer with information below).
