Peoria Airport To Get Two Million For Lights
(Peoria, IL) — Peoria’s airport is about to get some federal money for new runway lights. U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth made the announcement yesterday. Peoria International Airport director Gene Olson says the money will allow the airport to replace aging lights without disrupting flights. Work should start in the spring and take about six month.
