Ice Jam Causing Flood Worries Along Rock River In Moline
(Moline, IL) — The annual game of rising and falling water in the Quad Cities is underway. Moline Police yesterday warned that ice jams in the Rock River are leaving some spots in the city underwater. Police say a handful of roads east of 27th Street saw intermittent flooding yesterday. Forecasters say the river should drop back into its banks when the ice jams clear.
