DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY: Thunderstorm chances linger into Friday, but these are also not expected to be severe. Summerlike heat and humidity will return by the weekend, with afternoon heat indices peaking over 100 degrees from Saturday through Monday.
