Cleanup Underway From Southern California Rainstorms
(Los Angeles, CA) — Crews are busy cleaning up the aftermath of a heavy rainstorm that created a mess across Southern California. Several Hollywood Hills residents remain evacuated after the wet weather loosened a hillside underneath a home under construction. There were reports of mudflows in Studio City, rockslides in Malibu and flooding on the 101-Freeway in downtown L.A. Evacuations are also still in effect for the Woolsey, Hill and Holy fires burn scars. The National Weather Service says the four-day storm dumped a total of eight-inches near Azusa, six-inches at the Getty Center and five-inches in Huntington Beach.
