McDonald’s local owner-operators in Central Illinois donated over 566,000 cups of McCafé Coffee during the second annual “Buy One Give One McCafé Coffee for Our Military” program. The program ran from November 2nd through November 15th and incorporated over 7,000 handwritten letters from Central Illinois schools to accompany the care packages. Each package contains donated product valued at $75-$100. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 1.4 million packages.
