A Neoga police officer is under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
WEIU-TV reports Neoga officer John Dilger is being investigated about alleged misconduct. Officials say Dilger was suspended Tuesday, and terminated by the Neoga City Council on Wednesday.
State’s Attorney Jonathan Braden and City Attorney Tracey Willenborg say the investigation is ongoing. They say no further comments will be released on the matter.
