According to a press release from the MPD, Mattoon police arrested Freddie J. Aguiniga Sr., age 71 of Mattoon, on Sat. March 5th at 12:31 p.m. in the 1200 block of Lafayette Ave. Aguiniga was charged with Domestic Battery. The charge alleges that he battered a female. Aguiniga was taken to the Coles County jail.
