Sullivan Fire Protection District responded to a fire yesterday afternoon of an Amish business near a home southeast of Sullivan. A cabinet and furniture business owned by Ivan Schrock is nearly a total loss estimated between $500,000 and 1 million dollars. Firefighters from 8 other fire districts in the area were called on to help fight the fire, which took about an hour and half to control. The call came at 1:29 yesterday afternoon for a diesel tank explosion. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
