Mattoon police arrested Miles T. Daniels, age 31 of Mattoon, on Tuesday March 8th at 1:23 a.m. The arrest occurred at Lakeland Mobile Estates. Daniels was charged with Domestic Battery, Battery, and Resisting a Peace Officer. The charges allege that Daniels battered a female, then battered a male, then resisted police during the subsequent arrest. Minor injuries were reported. Daniels was taken to the Coles County jail.
