Mrs. Sandra Jeanne Peterson, age 78, of Newton, Illinois, and formerly Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away at 2:20 AM – Friday, March 9, 2016, at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingam, Illinois.

Sandra was born on January 24, 1938, in Benton Harbor, Michigan the daughter of Dwain and Mildred (Boyce) Hardke. She married Allen Peterson, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include, Sisters – Kathy (Dan) Crosley of Noblesville, Indiana, Cheri (Allen) McDowell of Olney, Illinois, Brother – Danny Easley of Salem, Illinois, Sister-in-law – Marilyn Hardke of Stow, Ohio, Brother-in-law – Glen Rubsam of Newton, Illinois, 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Jeffrey Peterson; brother Jack Hardke; sisters, Linda Easley, Luann Easley, and Vicki Sue Rubsam, who passed away on March 11, 2016.
