According to a press release from the MPD, Christopher L. Peoples, age 35 of Mattoon, was arrested on March 12th at 5:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of Charleston Ave. He was wanted on a Coles County warrant for Possession of Cannabis. Peoples posted bond and was provided a court date.
