According to a press release from MPD, James B. Brigham, age 46 of Mattoon, was arrested on March 12th at 2:01 p.m. in the 1600 block of Champaign Ave. He was charged with Aggravated Assault. The charge alleges that he threatened another man with a knife. He was also wanted on a Coles County warrant for the Manufacture of Methamphetamine. Brigham was taken to the jail.
