According to a MPD press release, Mattoon police arrested Jasmine R. Thompson, age 27 of Mattoon, on Friday March 11th at 3:36 p.m. The arrest occurred on Rt. 16 at I-57. Thompson was taken into custody on a Coles County warrant for Burglary. The charge alleges that she stole merchandise from Wal-Mart. Thompson was taken to the Coles County jail.
