Nancy Jane (Tippitt) Voyles, 93, of Findlay, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning in her residence, March 13, 2016-her birthday. A Celebration of her Life will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. all at the First Christian Church in Findlay. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery near Findlay. The family requests casual dress. Nancy was born March 13, 1923 in Findlay, the daughter of Fred and Vera Jane (Lesley) Tippit. She married Roy Voyles on December 16, 1940. He passed away in 1998.
Survivors include sons Dean (Phyllis) Voyles, Joe (Brenda) Voyles both of Shelbyville, Marvin (Marie) Voyles of Mattoon, William (Karen) Voyles; daughter Karen Sue Voyles and special friend Willy Johnson; brother Fred (Chris) Tippit all of Findlay; sister-in-law Wanda Tippitt of Vandalia; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, one brother and one grandchild.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Findlay and Eastern Star. Nancy was a delight to all who met her. She had many jobs in her lifetime. She helped her husband on the farm, ran her own beauty shop business and later in life attended nursing school, completing her dream of becoming a nurse. She had such a love of people and never stopped working for others. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all. God has truly received a great servant. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the First Christian Church of Findlay or Eastern Star.
