Joshua L. Bennett, age 22 of Mattoon, was arrested on March 12th at 4:02 a.m. at the MPD. He was charged with Criminal Damage to Property. The charge alleges that he was among a group of suspects who used a BB gun to shoot a number of car windows in Mattoon. Hart L. Hart, age 22 of Mattoon, and Dakota W. Gentry, age 19 of Mattoon were arrested as well. Bennett was unable to post bond and taken to the Coles County jail. Hart and Gentry posted bond and were provided a date to appear in court.
