On Thursday, March 17, 2016, Illinois State Police District 10 and IDOT will be shutting down all westbound traffic on I-72 between milepost 156 and 150 for approximately two hours for maintenance. Traffic will be re-routed westbound at Exit 156 (Route 48) and detoured onto Route 48 to Exit 150 where traffic can re-enter onto I-72 westbound. Eastbound lanes at that location will not be closed. The interstate closure will begin Thursday morning at approximately 9:00 a.m. and last until approximately 11:00 a.m.
