Illinois State Police Update on I-74 – All Lanes are Clear

The scene is clear on I-74 westbound milepost 171-172.  After investigating, it was determined the debris that multiple vehicles hit was a 4’x5′ steel concrete form that was in the roadway. It was not a roadway buckling issues which was the earlier concern. All lanes are open
