According to a press release from the MPD, Mattoon police arrested Jonathan E. Henderson, age 44 of Champaign, on Friday March 18th at 8:08 p.m. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of West Park Plaza. Henderson was charged with Battery. The charge alleges that he attempted to kiss and grope a developmentally handicapped woman. Henderson posted bond for the offense and is scheduled to appear in Coles County court.
