According to a Charleston Police Department press release, Sunday, March 20th, 2016, at 6:51 pm, Charleston Police responded to a report of a Criminal Trespass to an Occupied Residence in progress on Bostic Drive. Twenty year-old Gabriel A. Teat was arrested near the scene. It was reported to police, by seven female occupants of an apartment, that Teat damaged their apartment door and forcefully entered the apartment without permission. Teat was also accused of making threats to shoot the women. No firearm was displayed or located. Teat was charged with Criminal Trespass to an Occupied Residence, Criminal Damage to Property, Aggravated Assault, and Disorderly Conduct. Teat was incarcerated at the Coles County Safety and Detention Center.
