According to a press release from the Mattoon Police Department, Ryan J. Lee, age 32 of Cooks Mills, was arrested on March 18th at 9:39 p.m. in the 1900 block of Western Ave. He was charged with Retail Theft and Resisting a Peace Officer. The charges allege that Lee stole alcohol from County Market and that he struggled with the arresting officers. Lee was taken to the Coles County jail.
