Kelly D. White, age 52, of Neoga, Illinois passed at 7:55 A.M., Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. He was born January 8, 1964, in Mattoon, IL the son of Stanley and Carol (Stone) White. He was a self employed handyman and he enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms, cruising around Neoga and visiting with his family and friends.
Kelly leaves a special friend, Page Hunter of Neoga, IL; one daughter, Whitney White and fiancé, Jon Miller of Neoga, IL; one son, Tyler White of Neoga, IL; Mother Carol White of Brownstown, IL; one brother, Kyle White of Ashmore, IL; five sisters, Ellen Spanglo of Neoga, IL, Andrea Goeckner and husband Steve of Dieterich, IL, Leigh Ann Frederick and husband Jim of Flora, IL, Carol Sue Soloman and husband London of Mt. Vernon, IL and Sadie Lovell and husband Paul of Neoga, IL; two grandchildren. Mr. White was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Cindy Drum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family, in care of Whitney White, 470 Walnut Ave., Neoga, IL 62447.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 25, 2016, in the Swengel-O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, with Pastor, Paul Frederick of Salem, IL officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M., Friday, until service time at the funeral home. As per Kelly’s wishes his body will be cremated and burial will be at a later date.
