Excellent farmland is still selling for over eleven-thousand-dollars an acre in Illinois, but prices have dipped a bit. A new report from the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers says land prices fell about nine-percent last year. Farmland prices rose for 18 straight years and the report says the dip is expected.
