ALDI is Coming to Charleston

At the Charleston City Council meeting yesterday, plans were announced for a new ALDI grocery store that will be constructed in May at 2240 Shawnee Drive, near Wal-Mart and is slated to open in the Fall. The council also approved an ordinance increasing the number of Class E liquor licenses for the city by one in order for the new ALDI’s to acquire one.
