Transgender Bathroom Bill Moves To Subcommittee

A new bill in the Illinois House could affect what bathrooms transgender students can use at state public schools.  The measure describes sex as an individual’s anatomy at birth.  That means transgender students would only be allowed access to gender-appropriate restrooms.  The bill has been sent to a subcommittee for discussion.
