If you are planning an outdoor day with the kids the Scovill Zoo is now open for the season, and not only that they have 2 new additions to their zoo family. According to WANDTV online, two year old cheetah brothers were added to the family. Segosi and Kapenda are their names and came from the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute for Species Survival in Virginia. They didn’t hesitate to put them in the habitat with their older cheetah, Jafari, and he isn’t quite sure what to think of the young cheetahs. Hopefully soon though they will all become family together.
