Illinois Republicans are pushing a plan to fund state social services during the budget impasse. Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno introduced a bill that would authorize the spending of one-point-three-billion-dollars on programs for seniors, veterans and others. The money would come from special funds and general state revenue.
