Proposal Would Tax Drivers By The Mile

According to 24/7 News Source, Illinois residents would be taxed on how many miles they drive based on a new plan proposed by Senate President John Cullerton.  Under the proposal, motorists could be charged different ways through the tracking of mileage.  Cullerton says the revenue collected would help pay for repairs to the roadways.
