If you don’t vaccinate your kids for religious reasons in Illinois, you could soon have to provide a letter to your kids’ schools explaining why. Health officials in Springfield are proposing some sort of documentation for parents who don’t want to vaccinate. The goal is to make sure schools know who is up to date on their shots, but opponents say they shouldn’t have to document their religion.
