Kirk Not Attending Convention

According to 24/7 News Source, U.S. Senator Mark Kirk apparently has better things to do than join his fellow Republicans at the convention in Cleveland this summer.  Kirk’s campaign spokesman sent out a statement today saying Kirk wouldn’t be going to the Republican National Convention in July because he’s focused on winning re-election.  Kirk has been targeted as vulnerable by Democrats who are pouring heavy resources into the campaign of Tammy Duckworth.
