The National Weather Service has issued this hazardous weather outlook for Champaign, Christian, Coles, Douglas, Edgar, Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby and Vermilion counties. Widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible late this afternoon through this evening. A few of the storms late today will be capable of producing gusty winds and small hail. However, at this time, it appears the primary severe threat will occur to our west and northwest later today. Additional thunderstorm chances push back into the are again later Tuesday through Thursday. At this time it appears the greater threat for organized severe weather will be to our south and west. Although, a few of the storms late Tuesday through Wednesday may produce gusty winds and hail. There will be another chance for thunderstorms next weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued this hazardous weather outlook for Clark, Clay, Crawford, Cumberland, Effingham, Jasper, Lawrence and Richland counties. Scattered Thunderstorms will be possible later tonight. At this time, no organized severe weather is expected in these counties. Thunderstorm chances will continue periodically Tuesday through Thursday. Current indications suggest that the better threat for more organized severe weather, with a ris of hail and damaging wind gusts, will be Wednesday afternoon and evening. There will be another chance for thunderstorms next weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued this hazardous weather outlook for Fayette County. There is a chance for mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms, especially for areas north and west of St. Louis. Isolated strong to severe storms will be possible late this afternoon and early this evening, capable of hail and strong gusty winds. Active spring weather can be expected for much of the upcoming week with the potential for severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. The main threats will be large hail, damaging winds and possible a few tornadoes.
