William Lee Reeves, age 46, of Charleston, Illinois passed away at 7:18 P.M., Monday, April 25, 2016, at his brother’ s residence in Mattoon, Illinois. Willie was born November 8, 1969, in Hayti, MO the son of Leroy and Francis (Lyell) Reeves. He was employed as a crane operator for the Bryant Construction Company of Tuscola, Illinois. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, friends and neighbors.
Willie leaves his X-wife Stacie Daniels and the mother of, three daughters, Dayra Hilderbrandt and husband Joshua of Ashmore, IL, Mishayla Reeves and Shelbie Reeves both of Crawfordsville, IN; one son, Dawson Reeves of Mo; his mother, Francis Forrester of Altamont, IL; four brothers, Billy Reeves and wife Brenda, Kenneth Reeves all of Mattoon, IL and Vernon Reeves of Neoga, IL; six sisters, Wilma Murry and husband Anthony of Beecher City, IL, Betty Harris and husband Jim of Willow Hill, IL, Mary Stark and husband Billy of Neoga, IL, Geneva Haddix of Mattoon, IL, Patricia Reeves of Altamont, IL and Donna Elston of Mattoon, IL; four grandchildren, Raygan, Aydin, Corbin and Ivory. Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his father; one son, Wm. Patrick Reeves; one brother, Gary Reeves, Grandmother, Arah Lyell and one niece, Jessica Reeves.
As per the wishes of Mr. Reeves a visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, April 29, 2016, in the Swengel-O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL. The burial will be at a later date. The Swengel;-O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements.
