EIU’s Board of Trustees votes to increase tuition.
WEIU-TV reports that students will see a 1.5% increase in the fall.
The school says the increase is only about $4, from $285 per credit hour up to $289.
Since tuition for current students is locked, the increase will only apply to incoming freshman and transfer students.
