Charleston Council Approve TIF Projects

During last night’s meeting of the Charleston City Council, council members gave approval to eight tax increment financing (TIF) grant projects, including the Coles County Courthouse and Mac’s Uptowner, among others. TIF grant revenue is generated from local and not state revenues.
