Effingham Auto Accident Results in Two Being Airlifted to Carle

A Dieterich driver was injured in an auto accident that occured Saturday in Effingham County. Kory Willenborg is being charged with illegal consumption of alcohol and ticketed for disobeying a stop sign, having no insurance and failure to wear a seat belt. The accident occured around midnight when Willenborg coasted through a stop sign and collided with a semitruck. Willenborg and a 15-year-old passenger were flown from the scene to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
