The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a significant weather advisory for Northeastern Coles, East Central Moultrie, and Southwestern Douglas Counties until 5:30 PM.
Around 4:45 PM, Doppler Radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sullivan moving East at 20 MPH.
The storm could produce half inch hail and winds up to 40 mph. We also could see territorial rainfall which could lead to flash flooding.
Locations impacted include: Sullivan, Arcola, Humboldt, Cooks Mill and Cadwell. As well as Interstate 57 around mile markers 193 and 205
