As a parent, you protect your child from harm… How do you protect them from alcohol and other drugs?
Central East Alcoholism and Drug Council is offering a FREE research-based substance abuse prevention program called Guiding Good Choices. The program is for parents/caregivers/grandparents who want to strengthen family bonds and reduce the risk factors associated with teenage drug use. The curriculum targets parents of children ages 9-14 (grades 4-8) but ALL parents/caregivers/grandparents are welcome.
This five week series will be offered on the following Tuesday’s: May 31, June 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2016 at the Douglas County Health Department Conference Room, 1250 E US-36 Hwy., Tuscola, IL from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments provided.
