The Coles County Board is set to make a change to the county’s personnel policy, which would see sexual orientation and sexual identity added to the list of groups protected from employment discrimination. The board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. this evening in its meeting room on the third floor of the courthouse in Charleston. Other proposed changes in the policies include adding pregnancy and breast feeding to the conditions for which employment discrimination is prohibited.
