Charleston Hit And Run

On May 13th, 2016 at 8:57 p.m., the Charleston Police Department responded to Rt. 16 at 1050 E. for a report of a hit-and-run. A motor vehicle collided with a pedestrian resulting in the death of the 19 year-old female victim. The suspect vehicle left the scene. The Charleston Police Department is requesting assistance from the surrounding communities for any information on the vehicle and/or driver that we can add to that ofour own.
