Amid the on-going construction on I-70 in Vigo County, Indiana Department of Transportation officials have added new safety features.
I-DOT tells WTHI-TV, new safety measures have been added to the construction area near the State Road 46 exit, east of Terre Haute.
New guard rails have been added, along with temporary rumble strips, and delineator posts.
The measures come after an accident in the area led to injuries earlier this week.
