Charleston Council to Vote on Joint Venture with Mattoon

At tonight’s meeting of the Charleston City Council, council members will vote on the proposed plan that pairs Charleston with Mattoon in applying for a Illinois Transportation Enhancements Program Grant to enhance Lincoln Prairie Grass Trail. The two cities are working on a joint application for grant funding to pave the gravel portion.
