Mattoon police arrested Kristen R. Goodwin, age 41 of Mattoon, on Tuesday May 16th at 7:46 a.m. in the 1900 block of Maple Ave. Goodwin was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The charges allege that Goodwin was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well as prescription medications for which she had no prescription. Goodwin was taken to the Coles County jail.
