The Illinois Department of Transportation is set to begin striping operations along state highways in east central Illinois on Monday.
Counties affected are: Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Edwards, Jasper, Lawrence, Macon, Moultrie, Richland, and Shelby.
The striping equipment travels at approximately 15 MPH.
I-Dot officials are advising motorists to stay alert and use caution when on the roadways, and only pass when it is safe to do say.
