An Oakland teen was killed in an accident yesterday. According to the Douglas County Coroner’s office, 15 year old Amberlyn Humes died at the scene, and officials say the driver of the vehicle died after being taken to Carle Foundation Hospital. Another passenger is said to be in critical condition. According to the report the vehicle was eastbound on County Road 300 North when it left the roadway, rolled over several times, ejecting all three. The crash remains under investigation.
